Luggage
Brompton luggage is designed to complement our bikes, to create a personal transport solution. All our luggage is badged for safety with a reflective Brompton mark and, except for the folding basket, comes supplied with a shoulder strap.

Front Luggage
Brompton front luggage options are based on our Front Carrier System; luggage is attached via a special frame that latches securely onto a tapered block. It takes a second to attach or release your luggage and the load is attached directly to the main frame, having little effect on steering.

Note - the lower handlebars limit the front luggage options on an S Type: only the S Bag is designed for use with the S Type's lower profile.

Folding Basket This is our simplest item of luggage- a large, open-top container, ideal for shopping. Its shape is maintained by a simple bracing frame which folds flat for storage. Drainage holes are provided in case of rain. Capacity 24 litres.	C Bag A handy and practical holdall, the main compartment has a divider to keep papers separate from other kit. At the back, there are two pockets for items such as tools, maps etc. All the compartments have zip-fasteners. Capacity 22 litres.
T Bag - New 2010 Design Has considerably more capacity than the Cloth Pannier, and a roll- top system with nylon clips for closing. There are two pockets at the back and a divider inside. In addition, there are three elasticated net pockets around the outside, where you can stow the things you need during your ride. Total internal capacity approximately 28 litres.	S Bag - New 2010 design A messenger-style bag which presents a lower profile than the other options, and offers more compartments to store the paraphernalia of modern life. Velcro-fastening tabs keep things dry, with clips as well for the main cover. This sophisticated item is the only front luggage option for an S Type, but can also be used on other Bromptons. Capacity 20 litres.
A Bag - Available! Although our existing range has found a home in even the most formal of boardrooms, we are aware that there has long been a demand for a more conventional "work bag". Our attaché case is handmade in the finest traditions of artisanal leatherwork but has a dedicated space for a laptop; ideal both for the city player and the style aficionado.	O Bag - Available! Ortlieb, the most respected name in waterproof cycle luggage, has created a bag for use exclusively with the Brompton front luggage system. The O Bag features the finish and functionality one expects from Ortlieb and will be offered in two colours - all-black and pink and black. Given the bags' inherent waterproof properties, this is the only piece of front luggage that will not come supplied with a waterproof cover.

Hardcase for Brompton bicycles

Hardcase for Brompton bicycle, with a compact size, telescopic handle and small wheels. The folded bicycle perfectly fits inside the case, with the only exception of the extended seat pillars, where the seat needs to be removed. It's the perfect suitcase to travel by plane with your Brompton, protecting it from damage. Features: ABS reinforced case, aluminium frame, telescopic handle, 2 wheels, two locks with key, external security strap, and padded foam inside. Weight: 8 kg, Size: 650x700x330 (mm).

	Sillín Brooks B17 (+345 g). This beautiful traditional saddle will give years of comfortable riding, the leather moulding with time to the rider. The Brompton Pentaclip allows stepless adjustment of the saddle angle. Women's version available.
	Brompton saddle Sporty, comfortable, light, practical: this high-quality unisex saddle has been designed by Brompton specifically for our bikes. A moulded grip under the nose facilitates carrying, and the ingenous and incredibly light Brompton Pentaclip allows stepless adjustment of the saddle angle.

Light hub system

Buje Shimano

Our existing offering - a tyre dynamo and a high-spec hub dynamo - will be replaced by two hub dynamo options for 2010. 16" wheels and the nature of the Brompton fold have together ensured that tyre dynamo lighting, even with the best of components, was never as perfectly-reliable as we would have liked. Hub dynamos, like hub gears, offer a more reliable solution than exposed alternatives, but cost has always been a limiting factor; the beautifully-engineered Son hub dynamo offers exceptional performance, but at a price. However, a hub dynamo has now been specifically adapted for the Brompton by Shimano. In testing, the low drag experienced demonstrates that it offers very good performance and reliability, though the price will be broadly comparable to the tyre dynamo system. The SON hub dynamo will be retained and further improved by the adoption of a powerful Busch & Müller LED front lamp, featuring an automatic light-sensing function and a stand light function at the front as well as the rear.
